Kindred Spirits Equine Rescue is
located in Stevens County,
Washington at the foot of the
Huckleberry Mountains. Our goal at
Kindred Spirits is to help
abandoned, displaced, abused and
neglected horses through rescue ,
rehabilitation and re-homing.  We
truly endeavor to find appropriate
life-long homes for the horses that
are able to be adopted.

We also wish to educate the public
concerning the plight of these animals
and to try and provide information
concerning proper care of these
beautiful animals.

We are opposed to horse slaughter
and provide information to the public
about this unnecessary evil.

Some horses do reside at Kindred
Spirits whom do to age, injury or
other reasons are unable to be placed
in adoptive homes,  these are our
sanctuary horses.
Our Website is still under construction, thank you for your patience and
understanding during our learning process.
The horses at Kindred Spirits are provided
medical care, proper nutrition,  and training.
We take very seriously our commitment to do
the best we possibly can to rehabilitate these
horses, many horses who come to Kindred
Spirits have simply been displaced for
financial reasons and are sound healthy
horses who just need another chance with a
new family.
All adoptions require an adoption contract
and fee.
"Each time a person stands up for an ideal,or acts to improve the
lot of others, or strikes out against an injustice, he sends forth a
tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different
centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can
sweep down the mightiest walls" RFK

Courage doesn't always roar.
        Sometimes courage is
the quiet voice at the end of
the day saying,
      "I will try again tomorrow."
