Julia,
is a beautiful liver chestnut
mare,14 years old with a severe
old injury to her left hind. She
came to us with a body score of
one. We had her x-rayed and
evaluated by WSU and the best
course seems to be to let her
live out her life here with us. She
has a high chance of reinjury
and cannot be turned out in too
large an area. She is able to do
all normal horse things, lie
down, get up trot, even
amazingly canter! She is a really
happy girl and stays in good
weight easily. She has had many
xrays and recently had a bout
with mastitis when she
developed milk for no apparent
reason. We are looking for a
sponsor for Julia .

Rock,
is a beautiful registered blk/wht
paint he is about ten and was
used as a herd sire before
coming here. Rock is very
heavily Impressive bred. He has
severe navicular in his left front
and an arthritic knee on his right
front. Rock is sweet as can be
and super gentle. He has been
gelded, and we are working on
appropriate treatment. His
problems are probably too
severe to allow him to be placed.
